Ipoh City Watch officially launched today 23 Jan 2015



This afternoon 23 Jan 2015 at 3pm, a group of 70 concerned citizens of Ipoh including from the media attended a historic launching of Ipoh City Watch (ICW), an NGO that is concerned about the well-being of Ipohites, held at Kinta Riverfront Hotel in Ipoh. 







The event was graced by YB Dato Samsudin Abu Hassan, the Perak Exco for Consumers Affairs, Human Resources, Civil Society and NGO. I delivered my maiden speech as the President of ICW. 




I touched on our vision that is "to make Ipoh the most livable city in Malaysia. We want to build bridges with the Ipoh City Council and its councilors to ensure we truly represent the voices of the 750,000 people of Ipoh. 




Presence during the Launching Ceremony include Tan Sri Chang Ko Youn, Dato See Tean Seng, Dato Roshidi Hashim, former mayor of Ipoh City Council and now a life member of ICW. 







Others include Dr. Elangovan Subbiah, Dr. Raj Paramjothy, Dr. Mahinder, Dr Kamaruddin Yaakob, YB Howard Lee, YB Wong Kah Woh, Veeran Perak Micyouthchief, Sdra Azhari Hj Abu and other ICW supporters.
